The LG is one of the cheapest mini splits and customers are having near 0% failure rates with it, all over the world and in developing countries.
There are one or two secondary sensors on different models of the LG, and they can be found on the coils, inserted into copper cups. The primary sensor comes out of the circuit board and it attaches into the plastic on the inside (not the outer shell).

The primary sensor is a little harder to find. It is off the right hand side and tucked up along the plastic. The CoolBot heater wire gets attached to this one.
